Webcasts
The webcasts page has links to Kimberly's 10-part MSDN series A Primer to Proper SQL Server Development and her 11-part TechNet series SQL Server 2005 for the IT Professional. It also has links to other recorded webcasts that are available.

Sample Databases
As used in most conference sessions, these two sample databases are useful for learning and reproducing the behavior of most demos. Credit is used in many performance-related demos. SalesDB is used in many "online operations" demos. Unzip and restore (possibly, WITH MOVE) to use.
 2000 Credit Sample Database (48MB zip/155MB backup/700MB restore)

 2008 Credit Sample Database (52MB zip/53MB compressed backup/700MB restore)

 2008 Sales Sample Database (18MB zip/196MB backup/240MB restore)

Sample Corrupt Databases
This zip file contains the six common corrupt databases that Paul uses in Corruption Survival Techniques, DBCC CHECKDB, and disaster recovery conference sessions, and in most classes with corruption recovery demos. These databases are all from SQL Server 2005. For instructions, see this blog post for details. Unzip and restore (possibly, WITH MOVE) to use.

All the databases should restore and show corruptions on SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2 too - except DemoFatalCorruption1 and DemoFatalCorruption2. To experiment with fatal corruptions on SQL Server 2008 or 2008 R2, use the two databases in the Sample 2008 Fatal Corruption Databases or Sample 2008 R2 Fatal Corruption Databases zip below.
Sample Corrupt Databases (36MB zip/~400MB restored)

Sample 2008 Fatal Corruption Databases (232KB zip/~3MB restored)

 Sample 2008 R2 Fatal Corruption Databases (260KB zip/~3MB restored)
